Early Life and Education
Dr. Dharam Singh Saini was born in Sona village in the state of Uttar Pradesh . He obtained his Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree from Gurukul Ayurved Mahavidyalaya, Jwalapur, Haridwar (now Uttarakhand Ayurved University - Gurukul campus, Haridwar) . He is a dedicated Ayurvedic practitioner .
Political Career
Dr. Saini has served as a Member of the Legislative Assembly thrice consecutively . During the 14th and 15th Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh , he represented the Sarasawa constituency . He also held a ministry position during the 15th Legislative Assembly, where he was in charge of the departments of Ayush, Relief and Rehabilitation .
Dr. Saini has been proposed as the Chief Ministerial candidate for Uttar Pradesh state by Keshav Prasad Maurya . In 2023, he announced during a social-cultural event called "Bhagirath Jayanti" organized by the people, that Maurya should be the Chief Minister of the state of Uttar Pradesh .
